We are the RSPCA's first animal adoption centre located in a Pets at Home store. The adoption centre supports local branches by providing their long-stay cats a new chance to find forever homes. We do not have facilities to take animals from members of the public. We have a small team of staff and volunteers SPCA Office is open Mon-Sat: 8am - 4.30pm. The office is closed on Sunday except for appointments pre-arranged for adoptions and emergency visits. Veterinary consultations and surgery are by appointment and we appreciate no walk-ins unless an absolute emergency. Non-emergency walk-ins may require a long wait time and incur a walk-in fee. The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) Monterey County is your nonprofit, independent, donor-supported humane society that has been serving the animals and people of Monterey County since 1905.
